The foundation of Saiia Construction is the Industrial Market. The company got its start there over sixty years ago and continues to excel in the Industrial arena today. Saiia Construction has the Safety Programs and the Project Support in place to work along side ongoing operations or to build new facilities. Saiia forces provided the fast tracked Site Work package for the expansion to the Mercedes Benz Plant in Vance, Alabama. Saiia crews moved over one million cubic yards of earth and rock and installed miles of large storm water piping. Saiia Construction was recognized for Outstanding Safety Performance on the project.
During the past few years Saiia Construction has provided the Earthwork for Combined Cycle Power Plants in Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. Our clients have been the safety conscious Duke Fluor Daniel, Black and Veatch, Florida Power & Light, Georgia Power, Alabama Power, Gulf Power, TIC, Calpine, Savannah Electric and Southern Company Services. Our forces continue to be recognized for their safety performance.
